CTS Hire, a division of Northampton based Contract hire and fleet management company Specialist Fleet Services Ltd (SFS), is showcasing a vehicle from its new food waste hire fleet at an event hosted by The Procurement Partnership Ltd (TPPL) in Northampton on Wednesday 19 June.
The TPPL Food Waste Vehicle Supplier Engagement Day is being held at Franklin’s Gardens, the home of newly crowned Premiership Rugby Union Champions Northampton Saints. With the ground within sight of the SFS Head Office, the event has been organised to bring together suppliers and members prior to the introduction of new government legislation, which is due to come into effect in 2026 and requires all households to separate food waste from general waste. As a result, local authorities will have to purchase, or hire, specialist food waste collection vehicles.
